Men's Ministry

Our men make a point to connect throughout the year through breakfast, prayer, yearly retreats and a Penns Valley area Samson Society.

Women's Ministry

The PCVV Women's Ministry provides opportunities for women of all ages to study God's word, pray for one another and fellowship. We have an overnight retreat each spring that allows us to be refreshed and connect in a special way as we hear teaching, minister to each other's needs and get lots of good medicine through laughter! Throughout the year we sponsor other fun activities such as square dances, women's conference, white elephant party, Mom and Kids' swims in the summer and more. It's a great way to meet other women who want to grow in the Lord.

Missions Team

The Missions team keeps PVCC connected with what God is doing outside of Penns Valley. We support Christian & Missionary Alliance missionaries in Germany and Chile, as well as through The Great Commission Fund »» OUTSIDE. We hold a yearly Missions Conference where C&MA Missionaries visit our church and spend quality time with us.

Greeters & Ushers

The greeters and ushers are often the first contact people have with our church. We are constantly on the look-out for friendly energetic people to help us warmly greet guests to PVCC. The ushers have a very important job that encompasses details from managing the flow of traffic, parking, our facility, seating, safety, security, and much more.

Hospitality Ministry

The Hospitality Ministry is in charge of providing a continental breakfast each Sunday morning at 9:45 AM prior to the morning service. This ministry is also involved in special church events such as our pancake breakfasts and autumn hayride.

Setup / Teardown Team

It's not glamorous work, but it's rewarding and you get to work with your hands. The only qualification you need is the willingness to move things around and work together wirh a team. Every Sunday, a skilled, energetic group of men and women volunteers arrive early and stay late to ensure that everything gets set up and torn down in a timely and efficient manner.

Media & Technology

Do you LOVE gadgets? Can't resist anything with buttons? Our media and technology team runs everything from sound, lighting, and powerpoint, to putting together professional-quality media to be used in our community, on Sunday Mornings, and on our website.

Website

Our ministry on the web is expanding through our new website and the continual pursuit of excellence. Our goal is not to just be on the cutting-edge, but to find new and effective ways of reaching people through internet-technology. If you're an internet-technology minded person, there are great opportunities to serve through web-based ministry @ PVCC.
