CHILDREN
Welcome to Community Kids! Our desire is for every child to experience the gospel in creative and relevant ways. PVCC Community Kids are blessed to have great teachers who love kids and are eager to teach them Biblical truth! We communicate God's Word through creative lessons, activities, song and scripture memory.
Nursery
Nursery is located on the first floor, while Preschool, K / 1st and 2nd - 4th grade classes have their own classrooms located on the 2nd floor.
Preschool (Ages 3 - 5)
Preschool age is a fun age when they are so excited to learning new things. The preschool class includes the following: hands-on activities, reading stories using the Bible big books, learning songs and Bible verses, playing games and doing arts/craft activities. The preschool class will be located on the second floor.
Kindergarten / 1st Grade
The Kindergarten / 1st grade class is full of energy and very eager to try new things. This class will also be learning Bible principles through Bible stories, object lessons, learning Bible verses and songs, playing games, and doing arts / craft activities. Class is located on the second floor.
Grades 2nd - 4th
The 2nd - 4th grade class also uses curriculum which is age appropriate for them. This class meets also meets in a classroom on the 2nd floor and will be taught by 1- 2 people. Kids will learn Biblical principles through object lessons, Bible stories, and activities.
Generation Next: Grades 5th - 6th
5th and 6th grade is an important transition time for a Community Kid. One of the ways that we help them is by using our High School students to teach. Our High Schoolers are taught by an adult and then they teach Generation Next the following week. This builds an important relationship bridge with our future youth group students and gives opportunities for our High School students to serve at PVCC. Generation Next meets on the first floor of our building.
